Who are we?
Small Size Holland is a team competing in the RoboCup Soccer League. Small Size Holland consists of a group of robot enthusiasts who study at Saxion University of Applied Science. New students join Small Size Holland every semester to work on the robots to innovate and incorporate their own ideas. So far Small Size Holland has competed in the competitions in China in 2015 and Germany in 2016. Unfortunately we were unable to compete in Japan in 2017. At this moment, we are working hard to fully prepare the robots for the RoboCup competition in Montreal, Canada in 2018.
Of course the team wouldn’t exist without its sponsors! They are the ones who make this project possible. We would like to thank our main sponsor, Tech For Future, Saxion University of Applied Sciences for the facilities, Euro Circuits for the high-quality printed circuit boards, and finally maxon motor for their awesome motors.
The RoboCup Federation is an organization which encourages research in robotics and artificial intelligence.

RoboCup Soccer is a long term robotics project with the goal of creating a team of soccer robots and win the world championship of 2050. RoboCup Soccer does this by organizing competitions in three major leagues: Humanoid, Middle Size and Small Size League. Small Size Holland competes in the Small Size League, a team of six robots competes in this league. Each robot has a maximum diameter of 180mm and a maximum height of 150mm and are therefore the smallest robots in the RoboCup Soccer League.
